Fellowing the action from within the ring on a wide-angle lens --- on a 12mm prine --- meant had to be very close to the actors in order to get good close-ups." The final match in the film, was the film`s climax, we had to add a little more panache. She achieved by a Horseshoe-shaped rig of colored lights that the actor walk under on their way to the ring.

The Wrestler is my favorite film of 2008,and I think it's Aronofsky' best work,
it's completely different with his other works,
it's a biography made as a documentary! Not a dream or Si-fi, but still touchable and sensitive. als0 Clint Mansell' originalsoundtrack and Mr.Springteen' song, those old metalsongs are awesome, too!

I love those long-take and following shots, which reallymade me feel close to Randy's life and fight. Now I amamazed by the lighting works, her skill is relinquishingmuch of her control to the location lihgting? Not only thosering scenes? It's a 16mm film（ V3 7219）!! So marvelous!This reminds me a HK documentary named KJ(音樂人生)and some Wang Yu' works.

A few days ago I have a chat about Cannon 7D with myclassmate, we thought that if somebody want to makeamovie with this style( as KJ or Alberti's work)，he don'tneed too much lighting works anymore when he use sth like 5D MARK II or 7D, he can use theexisting light on location to create the mood. Of course,he must do the work called KNOW YOUR LOCATION first.It's more difficult than using lights, isn't it?
